Naples Museum of Art

Myra Janco Daniels, Founder, President and CEO

Culture is contagious, and with the success of the Philharmonic Center and the Orchestra, Naples was ready to grow its appreciation for the arts.

The Naples Philharmonic Center attracted enthusiastic crowds of people hungry for the arts, and soon, Myra began raising funds to build an art museum adjacent to the Philharmonic hall.

The 30,000 square foot, three-story art museum opened in November 2000. Now called the Baker Museum, the Naples Museum of Art is home to two 20-foot Dale Chihuly glass sculptures, and one of the world's most comprehensive collections of 20th Century Mexican art.
